Self-consumption PV system in Joan Pelegrí Square
|DATE: 2016 – 2017|
Arkenova carried out the project design and site supervision of a self-consumption PV system located in Joan Pelegrí Square (Barcelona).
This intervention is part of the refurbishment works of the square and the photovoltaic panels are installed on several pergolas destined to create shaded areas along the square.
This PV system, which covers part of the electricity demand of Sants-Montjuïc district, consists of 54 photovoltaic panels distributed into 6 pergolas with a total installed capacity of 14,31 kWp. Due to the different orientation and inclination of each pergola, every PV panel have its own 250 W micro-inverter with a total nominal power of 13,5 kW.
